Wine tourism break
Welcome to the Vendée.
Duration: 1 day
Welcome to a place where sky and sea are one.
As well as discovering exceptional landscapes, take advantage of your stay to sample local produce.
Today we’re not going to talk about préfou, mogettes or the delicious Vendée ham (although we strongly recommend you try it).
But rather wines that go perfectly with these dishes.
And yes, Fiefs Vendéens is a little-known appellation d’origine contrôlée (AOC) wine that deserves a closer look.
By car or by bike, we’ll take you to the heart of the vineyards.
Discover this fiefdom where vines come to life, cradled by the ocean and its iodized air.
Brem sur mer is just 2.3 kilometers from Le Bois de La Gachère campsite. It takes just 7 minutes to get there by car.
Enjoy breakfast with the whole family, freshly baked bread and pastries.
Our advice:
We advise you to bring your bicycles on your bike rack to explore this wine tourism route.
There are no signposts, so remember to recharge your phone so you can use your GPS.

Wine production will no longer hold any secrets for you, as you’ll learn all about the different stages involved.

Heading for the Cabane
Now THE PLACE TO BE, La Cabane offers its customers a breathtaking setting.
Come and enjoy a glass of Fiefs Vendéens and delicious seafood “with your feet in the marsh”.
This former oyster shack has been renovated to offer you a unique setting in which to enjoy a convivial atmosphere.
A word of advice from the team:
The Bois de La Gachère campsite is just a few minutes from La Cabane. We recommend you come back at the end of the day, to enjoy a superb sunset over the marshes.
Stand-up paddle in the marshes
